Keep the camera steady
A simple steady shot is far better than shaky footage.
Use good daylight
Natural light will make your tent and video look much better.
Make sure we can hear you
Try to avoid strong wind and loud background noise.
Show the full tent
Start outside, then move inside so we get the full picture.
Be natural
We want real customer videos, not a rehearsed performance.
Raw or edited is fine
Keep it simple. Clear and genuine always wins.

- This competition is run by Bell Tent Sussex.
- Entry is open to customers who have purchased a tent from Bell Tent Sussex.
- To enter, entrants must submit a video between 30 and 60 seconds long featuring themselves on camera and showing both the outside and inside of their tent.
- Someone other than the entrant should film the entrant so the entrant is visible in the video.
- Videos may be raw or edited, but must be the entrant’s own original submission and must not infringe the rights of any third party.
- Entries must be received by 23 June 2026 at 11:59pm.
- Entries received after the closing date may not be accepted.
- Entrants must provide their full name, email address, phone number, and any other contact details reasonably requested by Bell Tent Sussex.
- Entries must be sent by email or via WeTransfer using the instructions on this page.
- Bell Tent Sussex reserves the right to reject incomplete, late, corrupted, invalid, or ineligible entries.
- By submitting a video, the entrant confirms that they own the content or otherwise have full authority to submit it and grant the rights set out below.
- By entering this competition, the entrant grants Bell Tent Sussex a full, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty free licence to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, crop, publish, distribute, display, communicate, and share the submitted video in any media, format, or channel now known or later developed.
- This includes use on Bell Tent Sussex websites, product pages, social media channels, email campaigns, digital marketing, printed materials, promotional campaigns, paid advertising, and other marketing or commercial activity.
- Bell Tent Sussex may edit the video, add captions, branding, graphics, music, voiceover, and other creative elements, and may use the video with or without credit to the entrant.
- By submitting a video, the entrant agrees that Bell Tent Sussex may use the submission as it chooses for marketing and promotional purposes without further permission, notice, or payment.
- The entrant confirms that any person appearing in the video has consented to their image, voice, and likeness being included and used by Bell Tent Sussex.
- Entrants must not submit content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, misleading, obscene, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Bell Tent Sussex reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry at its sole discretion.
- One winner will receive a full refund on their Bell Tent Sussex order. If the winning order was for one tent, that order will be refunded. If the winning order included additional items such as flooring, a stove, or accessories, the full amount paid for that order will be refunded back into the winner’s account.
- The maximum refund payable to the winner under this competition shall be capped at £1,500 in total, regardless of the value of the original qualifying order.
- The refund applies only to the original qualifying Bell Tent Sussex order connected to the winning entry.
- The prize is non transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash beyond the refund of the original order value.
- The winner will be selected by Bell Tent Sussex based on overall quality, originality, suitability, and marketing value.
- The winner will be announced in July 2026.
- If Bell Tent Sussex cannot contact the winner within a reasonable time, Bell Tent Sussex reserves the right to select another winner.
- Bell Tent Sussex accepts no responsibility for failed uploads, email delivery failures, file corruption, technical issues, or entries not successfully received.
- Bell Tent Sussex reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition where necessary.

How Do We Collect The Plastic?
We have all grown up to love and respect where we live. The beach is a huge part of our lives which is why we need to protect it as much as we can.
Over the years Bell Tent Sussex have been collecting 1kg of plastic waste for every Bell Tent we sell, all from the Sussex coast. This will then be used to create energy from our local clean, waste to energy centre preventing it from going to landfill. The energy created will be in the form of electricity and hot water. The electricity will be sent the national grid whilst the hot water will be used for network heating.
Bell Tent Sussex have a few ideas how we can gain interest to actively go out and help keep our beaches clean and safe, whilst having the backing our clean tech company to deal with all the plastic waste in a clean environmentally safe way.
