    2. Initiation of Investigation: Upon receiving notification of non-delivery, we will initiate an investigation to determine the package's whereabouts. This investigation will involve coordination with our shipping partners and may include tracking inquiries, communication with delivery personnel, and review of delivery protocols.

    3. Investigation Time Frame: The investigation into the non-delivery of a package will take up to 8 (eight) business days from the date of notification. This period allows us to conduct a thorough investigation and gather all necessary information to assess the situation accurately.

    4. Customer Communication: Throughout the investigation process, we will maintain open and transparent communication with the customer. We will provide updates on the investigation's progress and any findings as they become available.

  14. Handling of Fraudulent Claims

    Fraudulent Claim Investigation

In addition to our standard investigation process for packages that do not arrive as expected, we reserve the right to scrutinize claims that exhibit signs of potential fraudulent activity. Our commitment to integrity and fairness in all transactions necessitates a stringent approach towards preventing and addressing fraud. The process for handling suspected fraudulent claims is as follows:

    1. Identification of Suspected Fraud: During our investigation, if any evidence suggests that a claim may be fraudulent (including, but not limited to, inconsistency in reported details, multiple claims of non-delivery without substantiation, or any attempt to deceive for unwarranted gain), we will escalate the matter for further review.

    2. Fraud Investigation: An internal review will be conducted to assess the validity of the claim. This review may involve additional verification steps, communication with the customer for clarification, and coordination with external parties, such as shipping companies and payment processors.

    3. Police Involvement: Should our investigation provide reasonable grounds to believe that a claim is not only unfounded but also involves malicious intent or fraudulent activity, we will not hesitate to involve law enforcement authorities. This step ensures that any attempt to exploit our policies or engage in illegal activities is addressed appropriately and in accordance with the law.

    4. Resolution and Reporting: Depending on the outcome of our fraud investigation, we will take appropriate action, which may include refusal of the claim, banning of the involved parties from future transactions, and formal reporting of the incident to law enforcement and other relevant authorities.

How Do We CollectThe Plastic?

We have all grown up to love and respect where we live. The beach is a huge part of our lives which is why we need to protect it as much as we can.

Over the years Bell Tent Sussex have been collecting 1kg of plastic waste for every Bell Tent we sell, all from the Sussex coast. This will then be used to create energy from our local clean, waste to energy centre preventing it from going to landfill. The energy created will be in the form of electricity and hot water. The electricity will be sent the national grid whilst the hot water will be used for network heating.

Bell Tent Sussex have a few ideas how we can gain interest to actively go out and help keep our beaches clean and safe, whilst having the backing our clean tech company to deal with all the plastic waste in a clean environmentally safe way.
